The consumer sugar range consists of refined ( white ) sugar or the unrefined ( brown ) sugar. Brown or unrefined sugar is sugar in its natural state. No preservatives, no colourants, no flavouring. This raw sugar is ideal for baking, hot drinks and is a first choice for brewers of traditional beer in Kwa-Zulu Natal. Brown sugar is packed in well branded plastic bags and is available in the both a 500g and a 1kg bag.
The refined range is far more extensive, with the range extending from a small 250g paper bag to a larger 12,5kg bag, with the most popular size bag being the 2,5kg bag. Our well branded packs are market leaders in many areas with consumers able to find a pack size that suits their needs in most retail outlets.
Our consumer sugar range has been expanded to include 4 new products namely castor and icing sugar which is packed in a resealable doy pack and the great new caramel and treacle sugars which are ideal for adding flavour and colour to recipes. |
